Technical characteristics
Outer shell
Outer shell made of carbon fiber and Aramid. COVA (Carbon On View & Aramid) technology. Very light compound that ensures optimal impact absorption and great resistance to abrasion and compression, clearly reducing tension in the cervical muscles.
The chin area is made of dual-density EPU expanded polyurethane. In this way, shock absorption in the front part of the helmet is further optimized. The chin guard incorporates a removable anti-pollution filter with variable airflow.
Ventilation:
Effective ventilation system that has 5 air inlets and 7 rear extractors that allow excellent airflow, evacuating hot air from the interior while offering efficient aerodynamics thanks to CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) testing.
All air inlets are easily manipulated with gloves. On the sides we find two small stabilizers in the form of air outlets that guarantee optimal air circulation.
Aerodynamics
The aerodynamic profile designed in the wind tunnel based on digital simulations for exceptional air penetration and significant reduction of up to -80% of the sail effect and up to -50% of the turbulence effect, providing optimal stability at high speed.
The patented A2S (Adaptive Aero System) rear spoiler provides high aerodynamic efficiency and stabilizes the helmet at high speeds through a sophisticated system of dynamic flaps. It offers a perfect adaptation for any racing conditions and reduces aerodynamic resistance when cornering. The profile of the chin guard with racing design reduces air resistance behind the motorcycle fairing.
Screen
Clear optical class 1 screen with a variable thickness between 4.25 mm to 2.8 mm that offers perfect optical quality, with a lateral viewing angle of 220º and up to 57º in the vertical angle. It has anti-scratch exterior treatment, anti-fog interior treatment and tear-off supports.
Offers 4 anchor points for a firm, vibration-free fit; with quick release system: Quick Release Visor System (QRVS).
Interior
High-tenacity removable and washable “Second-Skin” interior padding with Sanitized® Alvéotech anti-microbacterial treatment, very breathable and comfortable. Cheek padding designed using “Morpho” technology to guarantee greater comfort and fit even at more than 300 km/h. Design of the side padding optimized for glasses wearers (Shark's patented Easy Fit System).
Includes emergency system for easy and intuitive extraction.
