Rage 2.0 SUV Racing Truck Overview:

Kyosho maintains the Rage with a giant evolutionary leap forward in the SUV racing truck category with the second generation Rage 2.0. With the same cost-performance advantages as the original, it has improved driving performance even further than before. Core strength has been increased through materials such as the lightweight impact-resistant nylon. With stiffeners on the front and rear, this simplified chassis design uses less parts to deliver maintenance efficiency and chassis rigidity.

Chassis & Suspension

Simple low center of gravity upper deckless chassis design features an electronic speed controller and receiver cover, and a one-piece gearbox that optimizes main chassis torsional rigidity and strength while reducing weight with the introduction of lightweight impact-resistant nylon. Equipped as standard with big bore oil shocks that effectively absorb impact during off-road driving. This optimizes front to rear geometry with balance that delivers both light handling and precise control simultaneously.

Electronics

Powering this four wheel drive SUV Racing Truck is the Kyosho 550 Class G-Series G14L Brushed Motor that features a 550 size can. Standard spur and pinion gear setting is 76T and 22T, but nine pinion gear settings can be used from 21T to 29T which will deliver a wide range of gear ratio settings. The updated fixed gear mesh motor mount has holes for use with each different pinion gear with no gear mesh adjustment necessary. This motor is paired with a large capacity 60A Kyosho Speed House electronic speed controller that is compatible with both 7.2V to 8.4V NiMh batteries, or the standard 2S LiPo battery packs with a T-style connector. This kit will include a 2.4GHz Syncro KT-231P+ transmitter that allows throttle trim, steering trim, throttle EPA, and steering dual rate to be set with a simple turn of a dial.
