HPI Vorza 3.5 Big Block RTR 1/8 4WD Nitro Buggy

This is the HPI Vorza 3.5 Big Block 1/8 Ready-to-Run (RTR) Nitro Buggy. This powerful buggy with all metal drivetrain, sturdy 4mm aluminum chassis and aluminum shock towers to ensure a high level of durability and toughness is more than just a great basher. This Vorza 3.5 big block is also ready to race out of the box. Equipped with race legal .21 size nitro star F3.5 V2 Engine. All components of the Vorza drivetrain are designed to sit flat on the chassis, giving the buggy a very low profile and super low center of gravity for supreme handling through turns and corners. The front suspension features inverse steering blocks, super thick top links, aligned king pin and universal joint driveshafts, sway bar, counter-rotating shock mount screws and 16mm threaded Big Bore shocks with racing tuned springs.

Engine

The Nitro Star F3.5 V2 engine, renowned for its excellence in HPI 1:8th buggy models, perfectly complements the Vorza Nitro, featuring its distinctive gunmetal grey cast heatsink head. Constructed with true ABC construction, including a chrome-plated brass piston and cylinder within a lightweight aluminum case, the F3.5 V2 delivers robust power to propel the Vorza Nitro to impressive speeds. Reliable and exceptionally sturdy, this engine is ignited by a straightforward pull-starter system and safeguarded by a high-density foam air filter. The two-needle carburetor ensures easy setup and fine-tuning, catering to various weather conditions and fuel types.

Drivetrain

The Vorza employs high-performance machined spiral-cut 'worm gear' crown and pinion differential gears to efficiently transfer power from the driveshafts to the wheels. Utilizing a spiral cut enhances reliability and strength compared to standard straight-cut gears, providing increased confidence and minimizing maintenance concerns. With sealed differentials to prevent leakage, you can easily adjust the diff action using thicker or thinner oils, granting an excellent tuning capability boost!

Chassis Layout

The expansive buggy chassis ensures that all elements of the Vorza drivetrain lie flat, granting the buggy an impressively low profile and an exceptionally low center of gravity. This configuration enhances its handling, making it superb through turns and corners. The Vorza 4mm aluminum chassis incorporates side dirt guards to shield gears and driveshafts from rocks and debris, while the front kick-up enhances handling and steering on uneven terrain and tracks. The Vorza buggy is a delight to maintain, with all components easily accessible.
