Alpinestars Supertech S-M10 Unite Helmet Fluo Yellow / Black / Pink. The new S-M10 is approved according to the new ECE 22.06 regulation. Alpinestars equips the Supertech S-M10 with the latest technological advances. It is characterized by being very light and stands out for incorporating the MIPS protection system and the innovative A-Head technology, which allows a very personalized interior fit. The visor has been designed so that it detaches in the event of a possible fall.
Technical characteristics:
- Outer shell made of advanced molded technology formed by a combination of:
- 1) 3K carbon outer layer that provides resistance and efficiency of energy dissipation throughout the shell.
- 2) Unidirectional carbon composite layer that guarantees significant resistance to the length of the shell. Prevents compression, controls deflation and reduces energy transmitted by impacts.
- 3) Layer of aramid fiber that provides safety critical protection.
- 4 outer shell sizes to perfectly adapt to the physical complexion of each pilot.
- Inner shell in 4-density EPS.
- MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System): The Supertech S-M10 incorporates the MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) protection system. It is a low friction layer that reduces the rotational energy transmitted to the head in the event of an angular impact, thus reducing the risk of brain injury.
- The lower part of the helmet has been redesigned with a new profile. The base area offers a relief section. Made of soft EPS foam and has been designed to minimize the risk of the energy generated by an eventual impact being transmitted to the clavicle area.
- Redesigned ventilation system consisting of 18 air inlets and 10 air extractors at the back to extract hot air from inside the helmet.
- Fully removable and washable interior padding, extremely comfortable. They incorporate an antibacterial treatment and are characterized by their high breathability and sweat absorption capacity.
- "A-HEAD" fit technology designed to offer a perfect fit on the top of the head.
- Removable side padding for emergency situations. They have been made of semi-soft polymer.
- The visor of the Supertech S-M10 is fully integrated into the helmet design and has been designed to detach in the event of a fall. Includes a standard visor and an extension to prevent sun and dirt.
